Christmas Parties

This is the Christmas party at Keven's Mom's house, it was on Tues. Dec. 23rd 2008. With lots of Family and lots of good food and a christmas story with grandkids dressed up as wisemen and angels and lots of fun..

HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!

We had a very nice Holiday Season this year. We went to several parties and really had a good time. Very exhausting at times but the season of Joy was still in the air... We went to Terri's Parents and home town of Pima for Christmas this year and it was fun. We had a really nice Christmas Eve party at my sister Michele's home and the food was soo good. And the game we played with gift exchange and the musical performance that my neice Samantha and nephew Brenden gave was so nice and they are so cute. A bunch of the grandkids and adults went to Mt. Graham to get some snow the day after Christmas and they had a blast. When they got back it began to snow right in Pima. It was neat even if it didn't stick to the ground. The best part of Christmas was we all got to talk to our Wonderful Missionary Jordan on Christmas day!! I had such a good time hearing his voice and his experiences as a missionary. He is the best and his Dad and Mom are sooo very proud of him, we love you JORDAN.. keep up the good work and everyone have a Happy New Year!!

IT'S NOG NITE

This is another tradition that we have been doing for about 15 years now. We get together with our very good friends the Tenney's and its so fun to see everyone at this time of year. We feast on the wonderful BBQ-ing of Joe and Keven and stuff our selves, then we get plastered with virgin nog and then we think of how many ways to say NOG.. like Nogeriffic, Noglicious, Noggin on heavens
door, Nog-bibbing, Nogtopia, Nogvanah, well you get the idea and we laugh and tell stories from the past and its just a wonderful time to be with such great friends and as our families grow in numbers it's just that much more fun. The Family Tradition of Awful Waffles

This is a big tradition in Keven's family for about 35 years they have been doing this AWFUL WAFFLE night and they meet at Keven's parents home and for several hours his brothers and sister-in-laws cook up loads of yummy green and red waffles with sausage and it is a blast. Hundreds of families wait in line out side down the street for the famous waffles and come rain or shine every year the tradition continues. So these are the pictures from this years event. Some day we will hear how it all began. Oh and just for you Jordan there's a pic of Smoke dog lol... !!!
